Tot Spot offers children ages 3 to 5 and their parents or guardians the opportunity to expand their large imaginations through hands-on activities and gallery games. Monthly classes take place on Thursday and Friday mornings. We invite children with an accompanying adult to enjoy the Museum after Tot Spot.

Admission to Tot Spot is FREE for Museum members, $5 for non-members.

Tot Spot Programs:

June 5 and 6

Old and New: Explore the Latino's old ways in a new American culture through a wonderful display of photographs. Then create your own artwork from contrasting old and new art styles.

July 10 and 11

Speed Into Art: Enjoy the beautiful automobiles from past to present in this exciting fine art show. Afterward, you'll cruise up to create your own car show!

August 7 and 8

Seeing the Forest for the Trees: Examine forest scenery as imagined by the artist in wonderful oil paintings to inspire your very own fantastic forest creation.

September 4 and 5

Discover Dioramas: Discover how things can be constructed in boundaries and put into box shapes for displaying artistics ideas. After studying these boxes, you'll make your own miniature diorama.

October 2 and 3

Movie Posters: Get a ticket to see the movie posters used in black cinema from the old days of Hollywood, and then paint a poster for your very own show or movie.

November 6 and 7

Tying Art to the Past: Visit memories from the past through viewing more than 200 vintage aprons and their owners' stories behind them, then we'll craft your very own art apron.
