Piecing
Together Art theme of Grace's July Tot Spot
Abilene,
TX (July 3, 2007) - Children age 3 to 5 will get
to create artwork from puzzle pieces as
The Grace Museum plays host to tots from around Abilene and
"the Friendly Frontier" Thursday and Friday.
The
program is part of the Museum's monthly Tot Spot, where children
ages 3 to 5 and their parents or guardians come to The Grace
to expand their large imaginations through hands-on activities
and gallery games.
In
July, the theme is "Piecing Together Art"... the
children will take a tour through The Grace's Galleries
B and C to see the Al Souza: Addenda exhibit, and
then make their own piece of art during craft time.
Tot
Spot starts at 10 a.m. Thursday, and also runs at 9:30 and
11 a.m. Friday.
Reservations
are required for the monthly program. Cost is $3 for The Grace
Museum members; $5 for non-members. Call 673-4587 or visit

The
Grace Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through
Saturday; and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every Thursday. Admission
is free Thursday evening after 5 p.m.
