Little inventors to make appearance at The Grace's November
Tot Spot
Abilene,
TX (October 25, 2006 ) - Youngsters will
have the opportunity to explore the inventions of Leonardo
da Vinci and make some inventions of their own as The Grace
Museum plays host to tots from around Abilene and the Big
Country November 2 and 3.
The
program is part of the Museum's monthly Tot Spot, where children
ages 3 to 5 and their parents or guardians come to The Grace
to expand their large imaginations through hands-on activities
and gallery games.
In
October, the theme is "Little Inventors" ... the
children will take a tour through The Grace's Main
Gallery to see The Inventions of Leonardo da Vinci, and
then make some inventions of their own during craft time.
Tot
Spot starts at 10 a.m. November 2, and also runs at 9:30 and
11 a.m. November 3.
Reservations
are required for the monthly program which is the first Thursday
and Friday of each month. Cost is $3 for The Grace Museum
members; $5 for non-members. Call 673-4587 or visit The Grace

The Grace Museum is
open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday; and
from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every Thursday. Admission is free Thursday
evening after 5 p.m.
