Lovely landscapes focus of September Tot Spot at The Grace
Abilene,
TX (July 26, 2006) Youngsters will
have the opportunity to make fun crafts while learning about
landscapes as The Grace Museum plays host to tots from around
Abilene and the Big Country September 7 and 8.
The
program is part of the Museum's monthly Tot Spot, where children
ages 3 to 5 and their parents or guardians come to The Grace
to expand their large imaginations through hands-on activities
and gallery games.
In
September, the theme revolves around one of The Grace's exhibits
– The Artist's Eye: Paintings by Ronald Thomason .
The tots will do themed craft activities, visit the exhibit,
and then have play time in The Grace's Children's Museum.
Tot
Spot starts at 10 a.m. September 7, and also runs at 9:30
and 11 a.m. September 8.
Reservations
are required for the monthly program which is the first Thursday
and Friday of each month. Cost is $3 for The Grace Museum
members; $5 for non-members. Call 673-4587 or visit The Grace

The Grace Museum
is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday; and
from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every Thursday. Admission is free Thursday
evening after 5 p.m.
