Next Grace 'Wee Wednesday' set for June 25

Abilene, TX (June 17, 2008) - The Grace Museum's Wee Wednesday program kicks off at 9:30 a.m. June 25, and all toddlers age 12- to 24-months are invited.

Wee Wednesday is a Grace program that includes a fun time of songs, games, sign language videos (to teach toddlers sign language before they can speak) and more. It's also an opportunity for parents to socialize with each other, speak with experts on children's health, development and education during periodic drop-in visits, and enjoy plenty of mommy (or daddy)-and-me time in the Children's Museum.

"Wee Wednesday is held before The Grace opens to the public to allow for a safe and clean environment for our youngest visitors," said Preston Gardner, Grace Children's Museum Manager.

The programs begin at 9:30 a.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month. Admission is free for Museum members, $5 for non-members.

The Grace Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday; and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every Thursday. Admission is free Thursday evening after 5 p.m.
