The Grace Museum is a place for everyone.
Our mission is to build multifaceted connections through new experiences in American fine art and history within the evolving Texas story through exhibitions, programs, and collections.
One of the ways we fulfill our mission is by offering a wide variety of public programs designed to educate and celebrate people of all ages, diverse backgrounds, and various interests. We provide regular opportunities that engage children and adults in creative projects and events that are inspired by our unique art and history exhibitions. These programs not only support educational development; they build community connections.
We aim to keep our public programs FREE in order to make them accessible to everyone in our community. Public programs we offer throughout the year include:
Make-n-Take activities for families
Free museum admission Thursday Nights 5-8 pm
Opening receptions for Art Exhibitions
Spring and Fall Family Nights
Featured Artist Talks for adults
"Grace After Dark" short films on the rooftop April-August
The Grace Museum is asking for your help to keep our public programs FREE by making a donation to the museum through the Abilene Gives platform. Your donation makes a HUGE difference in our ability to continue offering these enriching programs to the public at no cost!
